KhaoLak accomodation guide Nang Thong beach location

This area is regarded as the central hub of Khao Lak, and it is where you will find the biggest concentration of restaurants, night spots, dive shops and accomodation for a broad range of budgets. By mid 2006, there was still some re-building here but most projects completed by November 2006. The main road section in this area was not too badly affected by the tsunami, and restaurants, bars, clothes shops etc, and a few internet cafes were operational in 2005. In 2007, along the new main road in central Khao Lak are a variety of minimarts, tour agencies, restaurants, banks, bakeries, souvenir shops, massage parlours, bars, food stalls, jewellery shops, internet cafes, dive centres, clothes shops, and art galleries.
